This 1971 Ford Torino GT Coyote swap was a Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour web feature in 2018. It originally was a GT, 302 ci, C4 bench seat 2-owner car from South Carolina. It retains its rust-free all-original body with no panel replacements. Current build includes 5.0 Ford Coyote crate motor, Tremec 6-speed transmission, completely new Ford 9” rearend with 3:90 gears, and custom-built front & rear 4-link suspension with coil-over adjustable shocks (rearend and rear suspension added after these pics). Interior was converted to factory bucket seats, 4-speed console (modified for the 6-speed), and air conditioning. Other modifications include rack & pinion steering, power front Wilwood disc brakes and 18” Magnum wheels. Factory options include GT hood, hidden head-lights, rear louvers, honeycomb tail lights and Laser stripe.
